Meet Your Coach and Mentor: Kitsy Higgins
Your facilitator, Kitsy Higgins, is a dynamic force of inspiration and empowerment. Kitsy lived most of her life like you—seeking confidence from what others said and did, craving validation outside of herself. She always tried to be "perfect," which never really worked!
Unfortunately, this led to two significant issues:
1. Not being her authentic self.
2. Inability to see her own worth.
The reason you seek outside validation is that this world is set up to do just that!! It's designed to make you chase after cheap words from people who are often manipulators and users. They know there are women like you who crave validation, and because they understand this, they play with your head and heart. They also know women try to "be perfect" not speak that loud or not ruffle feathers.
Things shifted for Kitsy in the last few years when she realized that "blending in" and needing outside validation was slowly diminishing her true self. It was ripping away the most beautiful, unique parts of her that the world needed the most!
Over the past two years, she has embarked on a journey to accept all of herself— the aspects embraced by society and those that aren't like anger and sexuality. Since she has done the work, she experiences more joy, and peace within her. She isn't in conflict with herself anymore. Which we all need! - Week 1 - *Confidence" - In this module, we’ll focus on understanding and managing our feelings while validating ourselves, helping you recognize that you are truly one of a kind.
- Week 2 - *Validation* - It’s time to stop seeking outside validation and silencing the noise around you; instead, we’ll delve within to discover your true self. We will also discuss the importance of accepting compliments.
- Week 3 - *Societal Norms* - We’ll explore the societal norms that shape our lives, identifying the ones we need to let go of.
- Week 4 - *Uncontrollable*- Learn to embrace the traits that others may disregard, turning them into your greatest assets and sources of strength.
- Week 5 - *Sexuality* - Often, we feel confined to being either the "good girl" or the "bad girl." We’ll discuss how embracing both sides allows for true authenticity in relationships and life.
- Week 6 - *Too Much & Mom Wound* - We’ll tackle the belief that we can’t surpass our parents in happiness or in emotional depth, and how this mindset can cause us to lose pieces of ourselves.
- Bonus - *Dating and Men* - In this bonus session, Kitsy will reveal the often-misunderstood dynamics of relationships, sharing vital steps to attract a kind and loving partner contrary to what you see on TV.
